That’s really not Tina Fey?

November 20, 2008

I mean, really?

Though that’s about how I feel when Sarah Palin is talking.  Sorry for the paucity of updates, but I’ve been assisting in the creation of Ghosty Grove Brewery’s (me and two friends) first beer.  It’s called Hoptimus Prime Pale Ale, mostly because that’s an awesome name and because they’re both dorks for Fable 2.  (That staple of wordpress.com’s front page.)  Not that I like it, of course.  Not at all.  Er…yeah.

This beer is not for sale, both because we have no license to do so, and because the name is ripped off from a video game.  Nevertheless, I have high hopes.  What’s not to like: We’re all cooks, we’re all crazy for beer, and we have a little spare time on our hands.  Who knows what bitter, crisp creation we might unfold?

In other news, I can’t stand The Office or 30 Rock, because they’re so unbelievably well-written and hilarious that they make me despair of ever writing anything that good.  It’s enervating, I tells ya.  Enervating.

That’s about all.  I may post a workplace-related poem — complete with tax-form-related sexual content — tomorrow or this weekend.  (And if that doesn’t bring the readers, what the hell will?)  More politics, of course, will follow.

Cheers, all.
